Eugen Polanski, the coach of the Blues’ U23 team, has the opportunity to step up to be the new head coach if Monchengladbach sack Gerardo Seoane.

German publication Ufabet reported on Friday that Borussia Monchengladbach have start looking for a replacement for Gerardo Seoane, with Urs Fischer and Eugen Polanski link should the 45-year-old Swiss coach be sack.

Seuane took over as coach of Monchengladbach in the summer of 2023, despite the Swiss coach’s young team struggling for survival last season, but the club has given the 45-year-old a chance, although his time may not be long after a poor start to the season, collecting only 6 points from the first 6 games.

According to previous reports, Monchengladbach have given Seouane three more games to prove himself and if things don’t improve, it’s likely the 45-year-old will agree to the job.

The latest reports suggest that the Blues have started looking for a replacement for Seuane, with two candidates being Fischer, a Swiss coach who สมัคร ufabet made his name at Union Berlin, and Polanski, the club’s Under-23s coach who is familiar with many of the club’s current squad having come through the youth ranks.

While the internal option is Gladbach’s under-23 head coach Eugen Polanski. The former midfielder is said to have the advantage as he knows what is going wrong with the team. On top of this, Polanski has several youth players who could be promote to the senior side with him such as striker Winsley Boteli. This would be in line with Gladbach’s roots of producing young players which they want to return to. 

The internal solution would also prove to be the cheaper option due to the severance fee that Gladbach will have to pay Seoane.
