Brighton head coach Fabian Herzeler intends to use striker Danny Welbeck as a key player to attack Manchester United because he knows them well as former players. The tactic he intends to use at The AMEX is to challenge them to exchange punches.
Welbeck, 33, is a product of United’s academy and made his senior debut between 2008 and 2014, scoring 29 goals in 142 appearances before moving to Arsenal, Watford and then the Seagulls.
Because he has a quota to shoot the old team, the coach is two years younger than the player, so he is ready to send the English striker to challenge the ‘Red Devils’.
“I listen to experienced players because I can learn from them,” the German coach said.
“They have more experience on the field than I do. I am not ashamed to say that because I am open to hearing opinions.”
“I can use it to prepare for the game against Manchester United because Welbeck is a former player of that team. He has knowledge about the club, about the opposition.”
“It would be stupid not to take advantage of it, but then it’s my part to make decisions for the next game.”
“It would be an exaggeration to say we are the favorite, but this team has built on the foundations laid. Manchester United are a big team, but we shouldn’t be scared.”
“We should respect our opponents’ skills and do our best for the game. The team has its own ambitions and competes with confidence.”
Throughout his career สมัคร ufabet, Welbeck has faced ManUtd 15 times , winning 6 ( losing 9), scoring 5 goals and 1 assist.
