Fulham new midfielder Sander Berge has revealed he has been impressed by the team’s style of play since they were rivals and is keen to join Craven Cottage.

Fulham bought the 26-year-old midfielder from Burnley. Details of the payment: Guaranteed money of 20 million pounds, which can increase by another 5 million pounds depending on performance and success.

The contract is for 5 years until June 2029, with the team holding the option to extend it for another season. He will wear the number 16 jersey. 

“I feel great because two or three weeks ago it was a bit of a slog, but here I am, sitting in a Fulham shirt in front of a beautiful stadium,” he told the club’s TV channel. 

“Knowing that our future is right in front of us makes it even brighter.” 

“Fulham are a team that always excites me. I’ve played them before in the Championship and the Premier League. They are amazing because they can switch between 4-3-3 and 4-2-3-1.”

Fulham are keen to bolster their midfield options after selling Joao Palhinha to Bayern Munich in July . The Norwegian is Fulham ‘s fourth signing of the summer transfer window following Emile Smith Rowe , Jorge Cuenca and Ryan Sessegnon .
